• Hydrogen Sulphide, Carbon Dioxide and Mercaptans can be removed from Natural Gas by several processes, including:
    • Amine Plants (shown here) utilizing MEA, DEA, DGA, MDEA and MDEA based proprietary amines (for all three - effectiveness varies for Mercaptans)
    • Molecular Sieves (H2S and Mercaptans)
    • Batch processes such as Iron Sponge, Sulfa Check and Chem Sweet (H2S)
    • Membranes (H2S) - proprietary process
    • Physical solvents such as Sulfinol and Ifpexol
  • The selection of the appropriate process for your application depends on the sales gas specifications, the cost of utilities and chemicals, and the ambient conditions.
